MSB Private School – Primary Section
Our expertise lies in delivering solutions that promote energy-efficient Building Management Systems (BMS) for buildings, schools, and offices, ensuring long-term energy conservation and operational convenience.
This particular project held special significance for us, as it was for the alma mater of Trodac’s founders. In keeping with their promise to the school board, we proposed a unique system designed to significantly reduce energy consumption by optimizing the use of air conditioning.

ToggleKey Challenge
The school was equipped with industrial-style decorative split unit systems from manufacturers such as Rheem and Carrier. However, these systems were frequently overworked due to the absence of automation to regulate and shut them off efficiently.
To address this, we installed IR blasters along with humidity and temperature sensors in every space, assigning a unique address to each device. This enabled the establishment of an IR-based communication protocol, connecting each unit to the cloud via the TUYA platform.
Highlights
Over 72 AC units were integrated into the same Wi-Fi mesh using the TUYA application, optimizing the school’s air conditioning system. We programmed and scheduled the operation of the AC units in accordance with school hours and environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity levels in each classroom.
Additionally, the school was provided with iPad access to monitor and control all units, significantly reducing the need for manual intervention, while lowering energy consumption and costs.
